The employees and manager are intelligent and well trained. They do have a smaller display of paints, lumber and plumbing, but... small town. You can't expect to get it immediately because the demand just isn't sufficient to warrant a fully stocked store.
The store is organized and clean. I appreciate that because many business and restaurants here in Trenton do not believe that a clean and organize store makes people want to spend money there!
They have a nice, but limited selection of seasonal items. I do agree that some things have to be ordered, but you have to remember, you live in a tiny town. Just like the grocery stores having loads of fresh food, it's expensive for the owner to keep these items in stock in the hopes of someone buying it. There is BR Supply for plumbing, and a John Deer dealership for mechanical do dads.
Yup the sign says ace,smallest store i have seen,every time i go in to the store to buy something simple like 3/8 galvenized pipe,or a blade for my pole saw,they donot carry a good slection of spray paint or 1 gal cans they always tell me they can order it, the ace in jackson has never told me they have to order anything.why have they gotten any bigger?its 15 miles to jackson
